This tour commences outside the Hahndorf Academy. It’s the two storey sandstone building very close to the pedestrian crossing in the main street. .
Walkers leave from this historic building to go into the Angerdorf (the original layout of the village) and when availability permits, inside St Michael's Lutheran Church, with its pioneer cemetery, the longest running Lutheran congregation in the Southern Hemisphere .
