General Terms & Conditions
HWT aims to maintain correct information to guests in all marketing material. All prices, itinerary details, and general information are deemed to be correct at the time of publishing, but may be subject to change without notice. Information provided on HWT website www.hahndorfwalkingtours.com.au is to be referred to as the primary source for up to date information.
The terms and conditions provided here apply to all products and services offered by HWT whether accessed via our website, facebook, printed brochure, third party website, promotional flyer or any other marketing material.
Change to Bookings
Cancellation Policy: Please provide notice of cancellation or changes to your booking in writing (via email). For cancellations made more than 28 days prior to arrival for the tour date booked, booking funds will be refunded less a 20% cancellation fee. For cancellations made more than 7 days prior to arrival, booking funds will be refunded less a 50% cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 7 days in advance of arrival, no refund will be given, however, the reservation may be rescheduled to another equivalent period subject to availability. Guests are advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance to cater for any unforeseen circumstances. No responsibility will be taken by HWT for booking agents misrepresenting any tour or activity by HWT. We will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury arising from or connected with HWT and actives, no matter how that loss, damage or injury was caused.
If guests do not arrive at the agreed meeting point on time and miss the commencement or part of the tour they are not entitled to any compensation.
Unless otherwise stated, all guided tours are based on a minimum number of 2 participants or pay for 2, except Hahndorf After Dark tour. Group tours are a maximum of 25. Where minimum numbers have not been achieved on a given departure the tour may be cancelled.
Care and Responsibility
HWT does carry public liability insurance for all tours and follows all applicable laws and regulations in our operations. We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to any valuables or personal items carried on tour and do not accept any responsibility for the deterioration of the health of any passenger that results in any illness, injury or death. In booking a tour, guests accept the policies as outlined here and accept that any activity always involves some risk.
HWT will not be held responsible for any injury or loss to yourself or your possessions.
Photography and filming
No filming or recording is permitted during HWT activities unless written permission is provided. Still photography is permitted for personal use only.
If any photography is to be used for business purposes permission must be sought from HWT.
Weather & Itineraries
All tours will depart regardless of weather conditions. Guests are required to dress appropriately to the weather conditions. The duration and/or itinerary of the tour may be reduced or changed for the comfort of guests in poor weather conditions. In these circumstances, no refunds will be given.
However, if HWT cancels the tour due to severe weather conditions the tour will be rescheduled or a full refund provided within a reasonable time frame.
Children must at all times be in the company of a full paying adult and Children 12 years and older will pay the adult fare. Children under 5 years are free of charge.
