The Hufendorf Walking Tour takes you to prominent locations at the northern end of the main street, and onto locations in the back streets not open to the general public! Enjoy an in-depth look at our village.
These easily-paced tours cover a distance of approximately one kilometre and are 60-90 minutes in length.
Several options are available for walkers; the signature Hufendorf Walking Tour, the Strassendorf Walking Tour (with Strudel and Stroll option) and the Hahndorf After Dark Walking Tour (with a meal option) Hahndorf Walking Tours can offer you 15% off several styles of accommodation available through The Haus Group.
Your shopping experiences are unique, with locally made products by our own artisans, and food grown and prepared right here. A generous business discount voucher sheet to over 20 businesses is also provided. The voucher sheet is valid for six months. On request, it can be emailed to you upon payment of your booking.
For each tour, we need a minimum of participants for the tour to proceed. If you are a solo guest, you will be required to book for two and come solo or encourage a friend to join you.
Once, the minimum has been reached singles are very welcome and able to book a single ticket.
The Hufendorf Walking Tour is the only tour which allows non-reactive dogs to attend with permission by calling 0477 288 011.

On the Strassendorf Tour you are escorted to prominent locations at the southern end of the main street, including those not open to the general public.
Morning visitors also have the option of constructing a delicious apple strudel and having it baked whilst on the tour.

The Hahndorf After Dark Walking Tour offers a whole new perspective of the Village. Tantalise your tastebuds with a not to be missed Hahndorf food experience prior to your walking tour.
This is the only hands on food experience in the village and is very popular amongst our visitors. The Apple Strudel construction is combined with a walking tour. At the conclusion of the tour you return to the Inn to enjoying your very own strudel cooked to perfection, served with vanilla bean ice-cream and cream. You also receive a hot beverage or soft drink of your choice. An experience not to be missed!
